All the units are equipped with an Hydrocarbons Analyzer not only to evaluate the emission efficiency but also to operate the VRU in “energy saving mode”.
With this mode the activated carbons beds are regenerated only when their adsorption capacities are close to be expended, the beds switching is made by the instrument signal and the pumps run only the time needed for the regeneration cycle.
